Weekend Joke
January 13th, 2007This one came from my Uncle Joe……..
Two Italian nuns are riding their rickety old bikes down the bumpy back streets of Rome late one summer afternoon.
It starts getting quite dark and the two nuns are getting a little nervous.
The younger nun steers her bicycle closer to the older nun and says, “You know, I’ve never come this way before.”
The older nun nods her head knowingly and says, “It’s the cobblestones.”

A Tale of 2 Cats
January 11th, 2007So, I live wth 2 cats. They couldn’t be more different from one another.
The little guy “Q”, is a nutter. He runs back and forth chasing nothing, licks his own pickle, yells at nothing, loves toilet paper and is always trying to start a brawl with the other cat. He’s kinda “special”.

The plump, white cat “Shine” is way more reserved. She just chills out. Sleeps 20 hrs a day and just generally has a good time.

They do love each other though, as evident by the picture below. They tear each other up and it’s pretty damn funny. Then they snuggle up like 2 young lovers. They rock.
Suffer
January 8th, 2007I’ve been suffering. The boys are training pretty hard these days. They have either training camp, Tour of Cali or Malaysia coming. I have nothing. No Cali this year and camp isn’t until late Feb. So, I just put in the miles slowly and suffer my into fitness.
Weather has been crap. Better for me than the other Feburary flyers. Snow, more snow and cold. The roads are super nasty and everyday gets me and the bike filthy. Someone needs to make full wrap-around fenders…..
Football!!!
January 1st, 2007Just watched Boise State trick play the crap out of Oklahoma for the win in OT to finish 12-0. And the guy who scored the winning 2 pt conversion proposed to his cheerleader lady friend on national TV.
Wow….go watch Sports Center to see the madness.
Vacation Part 2
December 26th, 2006Second off season vacation. Rayme and I went to France with a bunch of friends. We did 6 days in Paris and 5 days in Beaune, which is in Burgundy wine country. Will would was jealous.
Paris was amazing. We walked all over the city and took advantage of every meal time. I just got the fois gras out of my system. Everything about it is so old, it was fun to explore it all. Beaune seemed even older and was for sure more low key. My favorite meals and wines of the trip by far. We can’t wait to go back. Big thanks to Bill Roberts for inviting us along.

Vacation Part 1
December 24th, 2006So, awhile back I went down to Mexico. Walker, Mike K, John Boy, Will and I went down to Zacatitos to hang at the beach and celebrate Will’s soon to locked-dwon married life. It was fun…we drank alot…we leared to surf…we sat around…and we learned that Walker is like Jaques Cousteau down there.
